Windows for low-energy and passive houses

 
PFT Jičín offers windows for low-energy and passive houses manufactured from Trocal 88+ six-chamber profiles with a construction depth of 88 millimetres and glazed with insulating triple-glazing. In the case of these windows, the heat passage coefficient Uw for the whole window reaches a value of up to 0.73 W/m2K.
 
What makes the Trocal 88+ so exceptional?
 
1. Significantly better thermal insulation with optimum distribution of temperature in the construction
  • complete six-chamber technology not only across the profiles, but also across all functioning levels, chambers are designed to ensure optimum thermal insulation
  • lower risk of creation of condensation, higher temperature of inner surfaces
  • highly insulating system of thermal centre seal
  • unique sealing in the glazing groove of the sash prevents access of cold air to the edge of the glass and the glazing moulding
  • the lower edge of the frame is equipped with a new drip edge for better drain off of rainwater
  • improved method of fitting additional profiles, which are fitted as standard with extruded sealing between the profile and the frame.
 
2. Perfect stability and ability to withstand enormous construction load
  • improved statics guarantee the long life span and rigidity of the profiles
  • special mounting chamber in the protected dry zone for perfect anchoring of the window
  • fittings are located in the dry zone behind the centre seal, thus ensuring much better protection for them against moisture than windows with a compression seal
 
3. More space and rigidity for sound insulation and security.
  • significantly better sound insulation compared to systems with a construction depth of 70 mm
  • extended possibilities for glazing (from 24 to 54 mm), insulating double-glazing and triple-glazing with superb parameters can be used with glazing without any problems
  • very high protection against break-in thanks to locking of the the frame fitting components
